Serving children and families

Speech Therapy

If your child has trouble being understood, struggles with making certain sounds, or gets frustrated while communicating, speech therapy can help! We’ll assess your child’s speech to create a personalized plan of care. Our sessions are fun and designed to give your child plenty of practice. We treat articulation disorders, phonological disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, and stuttering/fluency.

Language Therapy

If your child struggles with understanding language, putting words together to share ideas, following directions, or has limited vocabulary and social skills, language therapy can help! After a full evaluation, we’ll identify the type of language disorder your child may have. Therapy is personalized to match your child’s interests and strengths. We treat late talkers, receptive and expressive language disorders, and social communication difficulties.

Lactation Counseling

If your baby is having trouble latching, gaining weight, or switching to a bottle, or if you're experiencing pain, cracked nipples, or feeling overwhelmed-lactation counseling can help! We’ll complete a thorough assessment to provide the best support for you and your baby. Let us help make your breastfeeding journey a positive and rewarding experience for both of you.

Parents are always welcome to observe sessions, allowing us to model effective strategies that they can use at home; however it is also available as a stand-alone service.

Parent coaching provided by a speech-language pathologist empowers caregivers with effective strategies to support their child's communication development. In personalized sessions, parents learn practical techniques to incorporate into daily routines, and addressing specific challenges.

Parent coaching is a 1:1 session provided by phone call or video chat.

  • "I was that parent who wondered if I would ever know what his voice would sound like"

My son was diagnosed with ASD and had a significant language delay. Erica became his speech pathologist and it was a match made in heaven. Erica always made sure to communicate with us with detailed progress reports. During our face to face meetings she would give us tips to help him at home and tell us little stories of his “ah-ha” moments when things would click, and I hold those moments near and dear to my heart!! I was that parent who wondered if I would ever know what his voice would sound like, and with the dedicated team and Erica, I now know his voice, and he is soaring in kindergarten.

  • "I could not ask for anyone more dedicated to helping my son, and I am beyond thankful for her"

My son had the honor of having Mrs. M as his speech pathologist for 3 years. The best thing about Mrs. M is she believes in the kids she works with. Most people could not understand most of his words, and he would shut down when asked to repeat himself. She managed to get him to open-up, and continued to try with his speech. She always made sure I understood everything during his evaluations, and always asked if I would like to add any goals. With her help and dedication, he is now excelling in his speech development. I could not ask for anyone more dedicated with helping my son, and I am beyond thankful for her.

  • Breastfeeding my babies has always been a struggle for me.

“Erica with Amelia Rose Pediatric Speech Therapy has been a godsend to our growing family. Breastfeeding my babies has always been a struggle for me. When my third baby arrived I decided to finally seek out some guidance. Erica’s kindness and compassion made me feel at ease and completely comfortable. Her knowledge and expertise has helped give me the confidence and skills I needed to successfully nurse my little one. She was very thorough and followed up several times to ensure I had everything I needed. I am so thankful for her and would absolutely recommend her services!”

  • My son referred to her as Mrs. Feelings because according to him, Mrs. M helped him express his feelings.

"Mrs. M is unbelievably knowledgeable, professional and truly cares about her work and the children she helps. My son referred to her as Mrs. Feelings because according to him, Mrs. M helped him express his feelings. I could tell that my son truly enjoyed his therapies with Mrs. M but most importantly, we saw amazing improvements and progress with his speech. He’s now in kindergarten nailing all his sight words and has recently started reading with little to no difficulty. There’s no doubt Mrs. M played an important role in my child’s current speech and language developmental success."
