Our Story

The name "Amelia" honors my late grandmother, while "Rose" reflects her passion for gardening, as the rose was her favorite flower. Coming from a proud military family and being Texans at heart, the yellow rose of Texas symbolizes a connection to home.

My journey into the field of Speech-Language Pathology began unexpectedly while growing up with my younger brother, who struggled with speech difficulties and stuttering. At the time, I didn’t fully understand the challenges he faced, but I remember trying to help him communicate, often speaking for him out of a desire to assist.

Years later, as a young mother, I became fascinated by my daughter’s journey in discovering her voice and learning to express herself. This experience reminded me of my brother’s struggles and further sparked my interest in communication. After exploring various college degree options, I discovered speech-language pathology, and it resonated with me perfectly.

I am passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of individuals and empowering parents to enhance their children’s communication skills. I am grateful to have served our communities in this capacity for over a decade now.
